The tyrannical silence surrounding The Tyranny of Silence

In last Sunday’s Toronto Sun, columnist Alan Shannof wrote a “J’accuse” of sorts. In a piece entitled “The silence is deafening,” Shannoff accuses the Canadian media of all but ignoring The Tyranny of Silence, the book written by Flemming Rose, the Jyllands-Posten editor who commissioned those now-infamous cartoons of Islam’s founder.

It’s partly because the media is spineless and hates to offend certain groups, but, I also think that for the media to acknowledge the threat of Islam is to admit that they’ve been wrong with all of their ‘Yay for Islam’ stories in the post-9/11 years.

    Wrong…. and misled.
Lied to by all of the Muslims that they assumed were telling them the truth.
No one likes to admit they been conned.
Never mind a con that’s been going on for nearly 14 years.
