The recent terrorist attack at the police station in Zvornik, Republic of Srpska, with a clear seal of Islamic extremism, is, according to many, a call for alarm, caution and the strengthening of preventive regional actions. Readiness for that is not lacking, at least declaratively so. However, there are other tendencies that are concerning.
What is even more worrying that the threat of new terrorist actions is the attempt of some influential circle to relativize and dilute radical Islam in the region of former Yugoslavia, to pass it off as religious rights and freedoms, in any case, as different to what it really is.
As for the terrorist attack in Zvornik, everything is more or less known.
