University of Winnipeg public forum explores ways to fight racism

A controversial Maclean’s magazine article that proclaimed Winnipeg as Canada’s most racist city was the focus of a public forum on Monday about ways to combat racism.

The University of Winnipeg hosted the forum in response to the article, which was published in January and sparked intense public debate in the city about systemic racism.

Wab Kinew, the university’s associate vice-president of indigenous affairs, says people need to take a proactive stance on fighting racism…

No wonder the tuition are so high: a constant stream of forums to discuss all the ‘micro-aggressions’ and idiotic articles.   And nothing will come of it, that much we can guarantee.  They might as well burn the money.

Burning all that money is not an option because, you know….climate change!

CBC is, unsurprisingly, basically a part of that campus. CBC HQ is physically adjacent. God, if you’re reading, and have any spare asteroids…

I grew up in the 70’s, when integration seemed to be the name of the game, for both the immigrant and their chosen country.

But something happened on the way to Utopia. Race became a convenient hammer, for the cultural Marxists to smash the hopes and dreams, of the western capitalist nations, by categorizing each group into downtrodden classes, that could be used to gain institutional favors and expand the socialist state.

The leftists of course we’re the driving force behind this and have cowed, the traditionalists amongst us, with their cries of ‘privilage’ and ‘racism’, if any disagree with the tactics.

Be sure that in any symposium or talks on race in our day, the result will be the demonization of the west – and more specifically the white race – and an increased ‘favored status’ of those of color. Not only does this feed the welfare state, but also increases racism by separation.

Winnipeg? Thunderless Bay has you beat. “Thunder Bay Dirty” on Facebook.

More emphasis on immigrant assimilation would be a better use of resources.

I wonder if they allow WASPs on that panel ?
