More on the Quake.

From a linguistic perspective, “FUCK” is an amazingly prolific and successful word that cuts across all cultures, languages, and classes.
It’s simultaneously a noun, a verb, and of course “the universal adjective”.
    Odd that happened.

    • It is a universal expression because it sounds so nasty;)

        Not in ALL languages! 🙂
Were I a linguist, I could do a PhD dissertation on that word.

          Better than snackbar.

Amazi-fucking-ly, it’s the only infix morpheme in English.

Apparently there are people at a camp further up the mountain who are trapped because an ice bridge was taken out by the earthquake.

Not something I would want to experience live.

Wait a minute, it’s a base camp for climbing up to a snow capped mountain and they are shocked that snow crashed down on them ???
They are lucky it was above the tree line because the debris would have killed them when 100 lbs + tree torsos slammed into them along with rocks as we see at the lower level avalanche .

Most of the people in that camp are a bunch of Prima Donna’s who get short roped up to the summit of Everest so they can head back home and brag to their Progressive friends. No a lot of the climbers to Everest are real mountaineers, they’ve all moved onto K2.

I jumped to about half way through and thought with all the f*k and two guys grunting, thought it was a gay porn.
