No One is Illegal: Emergency Rally in support of migrants crossing the Mediterranean and other events

Like many of you, we are shocked and grieving at the daily news of hundreds of migrant deaths in the Mediterranean Sea. Nearly 2,000 people have died since the start of the year, a 1,000 of them just over the last two weeks.

Join us at the Italian Consulate in Toronto on April 29th, at 1:15pm, at 136 Beverly Street (Dundas & Beverly) to insist no more migrant deaths!

More details here. Facebook event page.

Also on April 29th are two other important events. At 12noon, we are coordinating a picket at the Toronto Stock Exchange in support of Secwepemc Women Warriors Society’s call to demand the eviction of Imperial Metals and to stop the reopening of the Mount Polley Mine. Last August Imperial Metals dumped 25 million cubic meters of toxic mining waste from the Mount Polley Mine into Secwepemc territory, the worst environmental disaster in recent Canadian history. Less than a year later, the BC government is trying to re-open the mine. Join us to insist no. Facebook event page

Later in the evening on April 29th, at 7pm, come to Ryerson University, 350 Victoria Street. On September 26, 2014, 43 Mexican student-teachers from Ayotzinapa were disappeared by Mexican state authorities in Iguala, Mexico. The resulting social movement has seen millions of people take to the streets in over 100 cities around the world. Now, for the first time, organizers from Ayotzinapa will be speaking in Toronto about their experiences, and calling for support. to listen to leaders of one the most critical social movements in recent Mexican history. Yesiree, Prime Minister Harper, Zionism, and fellow neo-conservatives are to blame for all of this.

More from the American annals of “Social Engineering Gone Haywire”

“States’ charter in these matters is breathtaking. Please note that not
only is State making decisions which materially alter the demographics
of America, it also makes decisions about U.S. population policies using
guidelines developed not by Congress, the judiciary or even the
    president, but the United Nations.”

The Anschluss is upon us – community organizing on a global scale.

Shocked and grieving? You must be kidding. Either that or let me have a drag on whatever you’re smoking. These are illegal, for the most part, Islamic thugs and their women trying to get into a western country to enjoy all the freebies they can get.

If they want to get out of whatever hell hole they are in go to any other muslim country. Try Afghanistan. Or, better yet, Saudi Arabia. They will welcome them with open arms.

As for the Mexico stuff…….Not interested. There’s something called the government of Mexico. Protest there.

There would be no more migrant deaths if there were no more migrants…

    “Ryerson University”
It’s like the punch line in a joke featuring the three stooges.
    Can’t help smiling.

Any downtown Toronto shopper with a genuine diploma from back in the era when such things were still available knows exactly what you mean.
