WTF? It seems to be anti-tradition religious people with a twist.

      But, bacon.
      Better than the pastafarians.

    • Bacon makes it sorta OK.

It is obviously the greatest religion of all time. And it isn’t close. It really is no sillier than the rest. Really, its self-awareness makes it much less silly than the rest. We all know religions are not created equal, some are a little (a lot) more beheady than others, but they are all pretty obviously man made, not divine in nature. Bacon on the other hand, is both real and divine.

Bad paste on my part, didn’t intend multiple “reallys.” For shame.

“Las Vega Coalition of Reason”, also known as Atheists Anonymous. This could be a blockbuster, like the ‘Atheist’s Foundation for Charitable Giving’.

Muslims may find the church unwelcoming — perfect!

    All hail the delicious pig!

    • Heh;)

All hail Halal, the delicious pig!

That could be the theme of their muslim outreach initiative. I’m sure they don’t want to be accused of Islamophobia or racism.

    All Hail Bacon!

Unfortunately, my doctor has ordered me to abstain from bacon because its high fat and salt content, the two things that make bacon taste so good, are bad for my damaged heart.

    • Justin St.Denis

Norman, fret not. I worked in a Maple Leaf meat processing plant when I was going to university. I never ate bacon after that summer. It has been more than three decades now. I love the smell of it, the look of it, but I can’t forget watching it being prepared. I was raised on a farm, but I worked in a poultry processing plant for a year. That’s why I only eat free range chickens that I have been waving at as I drive by in the car for the past few months. Ditto veal.

We eat meat, but are very picky about what meat we eat. Thank God my sons and I hunt every year and the whole family loves well prepared moose and deer.

      … “Canadian Bacon” …
      Makes great jerky as well.

    Bacon, crispy bacon. Mmmmm
    I do.

  • just a thought

All’s fine and well until they refuse to cater a vegetarian wedding. Then who’ll pull their bacon out of the fire?

On the bright side… No Muzzies in the congregation! 😉
