      That used to be true. I’m not so sure about today. Sex-ed seems to be the main preoccupation. But who needs math anyway when you have a calculator on your cell-phone?

    Global cooling, population bubble, acid rain, hole in the ozone layer, there have been so many Chicken Little, “We’re all going to die!” environmental warnings in my brief time on earth that I’m sure I’ve forgotten several. Oh yeah, forget if it had some catchy short title, but wasn’t all the plastic in the ocean supposed to have ruined the food chain and killed us by now? And mercury in the fish? Weren’t we all going to get toxic levels moving through our food system years ago?
    Would be interesting if we could have a list somewhere to refer to if anyone knows of one, or just adds to this one.
