Sure Jihad attacked the kid with a hammer, but he didn’t mean to kill him…

Rafid Jihad was 28 when he attacked a 13-year-old boy in the 1000 block of Church Street in June. The Crown presented its case over three days this week in the attempted murder trial, showing that Jacob Mitchell suffered several wounds to his head because of the assault.

Jihad’s lawyer Frank Retar has not contested that Jihad attacked Mitchell, but he plans to argue there was no intent to kill, he said in an interview.

Sounds like sudden Jihad syndrome to me.

Then what WAS he intending to do when he attacked? Merely leave the boy seriously brain-injured?

Criminal defence attorneys, like a lot of hustlers, don’t give a shit about logic and rationale.

  • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

So, the hammer attack was just Mr. Jihad’s ill-conceived attempt at an interfaith conversation?

Yeah – “I WILL open you up to the light of reason!”

  • lgeubank

Yeah — how could merely punching a few holes in someone’s skull with a hammer be construed as intent to kill?

  • WalterBannon

Thats OK, when he gets hung in prison, it will only be because other prisoners were trying to help him relax by decompressing his spine.Who knew that stretching his neck like that would kill him…

  • just a thought

    “Sudden Jihad Syndrome?”

I wonder if he carried a hammer on his person at all times, just in case he got the urge?

Also, I’m surprised he didn’t try to change his name for the trial.

    • tom_billesley

Yep ….Rabid Jihad would sound so much better.

  • Brett_McS

No “We don’t understand, he was always a good boy” from Mr and Mrs Jihad?

  • Hard Little Machine

Time for Arab justice, Find Jihad’s mother and bash her face in with a bat.
