Catholic Relief Services vice-president is in a gay ‘marriage’

BALTIMORE, MD, April 20, 2015 ( — As Catholic bishops throughout the U.S. face attacks for requiring Catholic teachers not to support same-sex “marriage,” new evidence shows that a vice-president at the bishops’ own foreign relief agency is himself “married” to another man.

Critics say the news confirms Catholic Relief Services’ history of hiring high-level employees who openly oppose fundamental Catholic moral teachings, and raises further doubts about the organization’s stewardship of Catholic funds.

Well that’s progressive…

This is why I don’t give money to “Catholic” charities.

When did Catholicism suddenly turn into a gay bar?
I’m guessing the 1950’s, if I were to judge when the first pedophile Priests started appearing in number, and that means someone had to have hired them, knowing full and well what they were.
If the church took those concerns seriously, they would be looking very carefully at who was hired and promoted by known homosexuals and then take a closer look at those people.
The bad drives out the good, there can be no coexistence on this front.

      • You should see the stuff our Ontario Catholic teacher’s association get’s up to.

I imagine they do all of this openly too.
That tells me the whole organization is corrupt, and so perfectly corrupted that all possible reformers have already been driven from their ranks.

          • It’s all wide open, and one reason our Catholics are catholic in name only.

Michael Coren just became the Anglican on the outside that he was already on the inside.

When did this happen? Bet it’s not in a parish which uses the Book of Common Prayer regularly.

About an hour ago on Twitter. It appears to be in a parish where little girls play dress-up as priests.

Then I take it he’s withdrawing his book, “Why Catholics are Right”.

          • I looked but did not see this.

          • Oh dear….

At least we can take solace in the fact that all the bishops under whose watch all of this occurred are going to be roasting in hell for all eternity, their skulls providing the pavement.

        • Heh;)

          Well… NO!
(did I sound like John Cleese when I said that? – I wanted to!)

Yes, they might be roasting in Hell right now or soon, but rest assured that they took a lot of souls with them.
Leaving them in place is the worst thing the Catholic church could be doing.

Some tidbits from this case study of Rev. John Geoghan:

        1) As early as 1954, some officials at his seminary expressed grave doubts about him and his fitness to be a priest. Somehow he was still ordained.
        2) He met Paul Shanley and other pedophile-priests-in-training at his seminary.
        3) As soon as he was ordained in 1962, he began molesting boys.

All this was going on long before the Stonewall Riots in ’69 and the first Gay Pride marches in ’70.

Likely been that way since married priests were banned centuries ago (but after the split with Orthodoxy, as they permit married priests).

      • When Pope Emeritus Benedict cleared the seminaries of weirdos, he was savaged by the popular press.

Hmm. Yesterday, I posted “The Vatican Rag.” Tom Lehrer is looking more prophetic with each passing day.
