Toyota to end Corolla production in Cambridge

Corolla production will end at its plant in Cambridge, which will instead focus on more expensive mid-size vehicles, Toyota said, without giving specifics.

Which means – fewer cars made, fewer jobs and an eventual closure.

No idea why they would consider that option, here in energy rich, Cap and Trade Ontario…

But didn’t we appease the Great Gaia creator by announcing a carbon tax to atone for our eco-sins?

    • We have many sins to atone for in Ontario, we will not be forgiven until we have a GDP to rival Haiti

By “energy rich” Ontario. I suppose you meant that only the rich in Ontario will have any energy.

Maybe if Wynne had run something as complicated in life as an ice cream stand she might know about business. She has been sheltered all her life and fed bullshit by her boot licking buddies in bad times.

Keep your foot on the gas pedal you old hag, Ontario is not in the ditch yet.

The brand new plant, to be built in Mexico, will start Corolla production in 2019. The two plants in Canada will then start building higher priced SUV etc models.

Are they just using those as anchors to keep their import quotas?
