Mark Harding has passed away

I have just received word that Mark Harding has passed away.

I met Mark on several occasions but cannot claim to know him well as no doubt some of you do.

Mark was the man who was sentenced to Islam by Canada’s lunatic judicial system.

He was at the forefront in the fight against Islamization long before it was cool, long before it was even on my radar.

The pic above is from an event at Queen’s Park that Mark organized and I attended. You can read about it here.

A brief history of Mark’s battles are summarized in the video interview below.

Scaramouche has written about Mark over the years, her blog is a good place to get a sense of the man.

More here by Scaramouche and Blogwrath has a nice write up.

Thanks Mark.

Mark Harding was a prophet and paid the price.
I am utter unsurprised that the disgusting filthy animal, Bernie Farber, was instrumental in this man’s persecution and overall human rights atrocity, ironically committed in the name of “Human Rights”.

    • Yes he paid a high price thanks to an un-elected judge who didn’t have a clue about Islam but felt certain he was right to defend it.

A reader sent me a screen cap of farber’s comment on Haroon Siddiqui’s retirement, he is a despicable twit.

It’s been a while since Bernie had a column in the Star.
He could replace Haroon and not miss a step.

          What a liar!
          He’s such a creep.

Mark Harding was the first Canadian who went to jail by highlighting the persecution of Christians in the islamic world and the dangers of islamic jihadism and he was persecuted went to jail for it here in Canada. While the disgusting and ignorant Canada and her leaders gave almost 12 million dollars to the islamic jihadist sympathizer “maher arar” Mark Harding was NEVER acknowledged for his desire to seek justice for the persecuted Christians in the islamic world and for his continuous warning of the dangers of islamic jihadism right here in Canada. Mark Harding will be greatly missed by his family and and by others who were closer to him. May God take Him to a better place and may the justice he started to fight for, long before any other Canadian be finally realized. Amen!

I remember reading the judge’s ruling. It was invidious nonsense, proof that white guilt destroys the rule of law and opens the door to barbarism. What is being sentenced to Islam if not a reduction of law to the rule of the vendetta? It takes guys willing to pay the price to show us that.

    This is sad news.

He got screwed by the ‘justice’ system. NO two ways about it.

  • Ho Hum

What is sad is the fact that the vast majority of Canadians – probably 99% – have never heard of this travesty of justice and more importantly are completely unaware of the fact that we do not have freedom of speech in Canada. Most Canadians stupidly believe that we are like the U.S. where free-speech is enshrined in the Constitution.

The number one election issue in the upcoming election should be scraping section 319 of the criminal code under which speech is criminalized in Canada but which party is going to champion this change? All of the parties are fascist. Stephen Harper has had years of majority government in which he could have done away with this law but Harper is a fascist just like the Liberals and NDP!

    • David Baines

I saw Mark years ago on the Michael Coren Show. He was the voice that the “progressives” hated. Like most Europeans (until recently), Canadians are blissfully unaware of what large scale Third World immigration can do to a country. Britain and many European states are now finding out the hard way just how intolerant that radical Islam is. Gays are beaten up on the streets of Amsterdam, Stockholm, Paris and London, public schools in many parts of the UK have been taken over by hardline Islamists, and many towns become majority Muslim. Birmingham, a city of one million plus, is now 40% Muslim. The Swedes watch passively as whole neighbourhoods in Stockholm are burned down by mobs of Muslim youths, and the police do nothing while radical Muslims run Jews out of town in Malmo.

Canada takes in over one million immigrants every four years from countries that are culturally incompatible with the Dominion, thinking that official multiculturalism is somehow good for us. In another three generations, Canada will be nothing more than a 4,000 mile long landmass filled with squabbling ethnic and religious groups, and with no cohesive national identity. We are all doomed.

  • Frau Katze

I hadn’t heard of him before, but his early experience (as summarized by Blogwrath) is appalling.

I fear we are doomed. Invaders are treated like princes. Those who would resist them are persecuted.

Decline and fall is well under way.

  • moraywatson

Thank you for your vigilance and sacrifice, Mark Harding. May God bless you, and keep you.

  • John

I’d never heard of him before. HIs ordeal with the justice systeme and the human rights industry is incredible. However, being railroaded the way he was isn’t all that surprising anymore. It’s happening to a lot of people and heralds the decline and death of democracy. Judicial fiats issued by unelected judges is now the norm when dealing with upstarts threatening social…cohesion.

  • Justin St.Denis

Why is it that such stories, when they occur in Canada, are never accompanied by a photograph of the judge in question? I have wondered about this for years now.

  • This man did not need to go through the ringer for speaking the truth.

    May he rest in peace.

  • Scaramouche

I’m so sad to hear of his passing. What Canada put this humble, gentle soul though in the name of “human rights” (really in the name of silencing the truth re jihad) was a travesty. And yet despite it all he remained a fighter right up to the end.

RIP Pastor Harding. You will be missed.

  • David Baines

Good bless you mark. May your reward in Heaven be great.

well each to their own I guess
