    Everything Eza just said is true, and if anything, he was being kind.

    I always thought that United Fruit/Chiquita were a right-wing paramilitary operation disguised as a fruit company.
    I know Central America has some ‘rough neighborhoods’ and to do business there you sometimes have to “do it differently” than we would here up north, but they were into some freaky stuff that even weirded out the CIA’s Latin American desk.
    Yeah, just meditate on that one for a moment or two.

    Just another successful entity, owned by the rich and used to suppress and control the mass of peons, propped up an enabled by the US since the 1930’s. Of course any resistance to virtual slavery was labeled communist infiltration enabling terrorists.
    The same mentality allowed the Barbary Pirates to enslave and murder at will…the rich will condone, participate in, and cover up anything as long as they get to make money in the process.
