Hypocritical Margaret Atwood’s bizarre fashion criticism

Princess Kate is easily one of the most beautiful women in the world, yet not everyone is impressed.

Margaret Atwood’s ‘fashion criticism’ of Kate was a big story in the UK. Should the ‘unusual-looking’ Atwood really be commenting on how other people look?

The turbo feminist also called out Stephen Harper and his position on the niqab at citizenship ceremonies.

Margaret Atwood is a hypocrite. But you probably already knew that.

Old ugly woman with no fashion sense hates fashionable young beautiful woman!
    Film at 11!

  • Does anyone really care what an ugly old has-been has to say about Kate Middleton?

    • Drunk_by_Noon

Actually, I had to look up who she even was.

Think of a bubble in a cess pool, no further explanations required

      • Some sad, old b!#ch one had to read in high school. Some English teacher thought because she is Canadian that, therefore, translated as actual talent or ability.

Years ago when I had to read Edible Woman which was on the reading list for my CanLit course, I horked up a slew of of hairballs and haven’t read her since. However, I have to give her one thing — she’s damn good at self-promotion.

Maggie Kate…. Maggie Kate…I’m on Kate’s side. She’s pretty. She’s stylish. And she’s classy. Maggie doesn’t rate. But when your good buddies with Jian Ghomeshi, is it really a surprise?

    • Surele Surele

Kate looks gorgeous in anything she wears. Maggie… not so much.

Confused Feminists like Atwood believe wearing a mask is a woman’s choice, but only if she has a thuggish Third World husband who commands it. No Western man has right talk about women’s affairs, but women can talk about men’s affairs endlessly. Western Feminists like Atwood are confused, contradictory and help the thugs of Islam rape, crush and murder women with impunity. Silence only helps the perpetrators, never the victims. Kate is great. Atwood is too impressed with herself.

Lets ask a crazy old marxist hippy Atwood for fashion advic

One can just imagine that rancid scabby, old hag of a Mag’s Atwood just quivering in faux indignation over the gorgeous Kate, not only having children but seeming to be happy about her life.

“The handmaid’s tale” turned me off reading anything Atwood.

Saw the “highly rated” film. It took me two weeks to scrape the vomit off my shoes.

The Handmaid’s Tale is about Islam but not even Atwood knows that; she got the idea but was/is so fixated against Christians to be blind to see which ideology really does dress their women in bags and think of them as purely second-class citizen baby-makers.

      • Surele Surele

that was my impression as well, when I read it (perhaps 15 years ago). but in addition to her biased hatred of Christianity (I’m Jewish) I very much disliked her style. Did not understand all the hype around her. But, hey, English is my second (or rather third) language. Maybe I was just not getting it.

        • occupant 9

I didn’t understand it as a foreshadow of Islam until the past half decade. When I first read it, I was young and thought she was seeing something about those “evil” Christians.

It took years for the disconnect to become evident to me. Slow learner, I guess.

My dad worked for years in Canadian publishing. He had friends across the spectrum. That is how I came to read about 50 pages of an Atwood manuscript as submitted by the author. This was in the early 1980s. I have never read anything by Atwood since, but I have a grudging respect for her editors’ sense of professional discretion.

    She’s pretty.

I still think she looks like Pierre T in drag :<(
Kate looks adorable methinks Maggie is consumed with envy JMO

Atwood is a “frump”. Never had any style or fashion sense.

  • Observer

Someone who railed against the publishing companies demanding they share a portion of their gross revenues will all people claiming to be writers.

Then thanks to years of getting free money from government funded “Arts Council(s)” she finally gets published and the money rolls in.

Of course she never shares any of her publishing royalties as well as film royalties with the arts councils who funded her nor does she share her money with the unpublished authors she so much cared about when she was an unpublished author.

While she still says governments need to be giving (more taxpayer money) to the “arts” she also want tax breaks for well off “artists” like herself.

    • occupant 9

Look here, if it weren’t for double standards we’d only have half as many.

To expect Atwood to share from “her” stash does not align with Atwood’s definition of sharing; she only “shares” from your stash because that’s what Socialist/Marxist/Communists excel at.

  • J. C.

    Atwood needs to just F.O.A.D.
