Swift justice?

To say the wheels of justice grind slowly when it comes to Ontario’s Liberal government as compared to Ottawa’s Conservative one, would be an understatement.

In March, 2013, the RCMP began an investigation into allegations of fraud and breach of trust over expense claims against a number of Canadian senators.

Things have moved swiftly ever since.

The OPPA, since 2007, has donated thousands of dollars to the Ontario Liberals. One of the main figures, the Liberal candidate in the Ontario election and targeted in theRCMP Ontario election probe, was the CEO of the OPPA. The principal lawyer for the OPPA has donated thousands of dollars to the federal Liberal party. These facts explain why the OPP is stonewalling its investigation into Ontario Liberal corruption.

No matter the result of the investigation, the delay will have served it’s purpose. Kind of the opposite of slap suits where the defendant is dragged though the process for years to bankrupt and keep them too busy to continue what they were doing, the delay here is so once the findings are released the then Liberals of the day can say “Oh, that was a different Liberal party. It’s been years and all those involved are long gone”.

    • Which is exactly how wynne tried to position her tenure.

RCMP…..LMAO. If it doesn’t involve tasering tourists, stealing flood victims private property, kicking handicapped surrendered prisoners in the head or eating donuts anybody in BC can tell you good luck with that bunch of morons. The only reason they went after the senators is it was a good deflection from their many transgressions.
