‘Cowardice’: Coulter, O’Reilly Slam Christian Silence Against Liberal ‘Attacks’

Bill O’Reilly spent the entire first segment of his show tonight going off on “the war on Christianity.” He pivoted from literal attacks on Christians in Kenya and by ISIS to “verbal attacks against Christians” in the United States.

O’Reilly called out Bill Maher‘s “vicious behavior towards Christianity” in particular before focusing on Indiana and the pizza place that was forced to close down over threats after comments about not catering gay weddings.

And what bothered both O’Reilly and guest Ann Coulter is how all this is happening without any religious leaders speaking out or pushing back. Coulter told O’Reilly “it’s Christianity that the left hates most of all” before complaining about Christian silence on these issues…

        • Justin St.Denis

The Republican establishment is terrified of homosexuals and BigGay advocacy. Essentially, the Republican establishment is genuinely homophobic. There really is no other word for it. Oh, and they are cowards, too. Terrified by fairies, unicorns and the New York Times.

Republican voters will stay home in 2016

They might be RINOs, but at least they are talking about it on TV.
No one else seems to be, so I’ll cut them a bit of slack this time.

Good news this morning as I checked CBC news this morning. The attacks in Kenya had nothing to do with islam. No mention of the words islam or muslim. They are mentioned as gunmen. And the CBC talking head this morning wishes every one a Happy Friday and yay its a long weekend. Nothing to do with Christ dying on the Cross. As for myself, I will be attending Good Friday services at my conservative church as I hope everyone else will be.

    • David Murrell

…and the CBC News web page did not mention the genocidal massacre at all. One had to click onto the “world news” page to read of any mention of it. CBC News censors the story, in order to protect Islam’s name against accusations that it undertook this war crime. CBC News essentially supports war criminality.

Happy Friday!!??? This Jew just chocked on her coffee!

I have very good RC friends who have wondered aloud for years why the RC Church has not excommunicated various prominent nominal Catholics for championing very anti-Catholic causes (abortion, gay marriage etc.). Examples include Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi etc. How do these prominent people who claim to be Catholic remain inside the RC Church when they are obviously not Roman Catholic?

    • Jason

Justin Trudeau comes to mind too. My suspicion (fear) is that many of the Church leaders are like their (often) nominal followers and that their own faith/belief levels are shallow and fragile. So, combine that with a certain degree of wimpiness/cowardice and it’s all too much trouble anyway/why bother, becomes the attitude.

I could be wrong. However, maintaining theistic beliefs in a society that is clearly antipathetic to it is difficult (hence one of the reasons – just one of many – the muslims isolate themselves from the surrounding secular society and create a sub-society within it, to avoid “contamination”.)

Good interview. Christians need a “Christian Defence League”, akin to the “Jewish Defence League”.

  • Liberals are the biggest bigots ever. They hate anything that thinks different than themselves.

  • Norman_In_New_York

Here’s a tip from a Jew. If you stand up for yourself and push back, you gain much greater respect than by rolling over and playing dead.

    • Ghost of Ed

You’re right. But I think there will eventually be a push back, and it won’t be pretty. It’s just a matter of time.

      • Surele Surele

Let’s hope it’s not long to wait. The damage might be irreversible.

Obviously these two media knobs are not aware that being a Christian requires one to ‘turn the other cheek’….

  • EVERY Christian leader of whatever stripe should be up in the grill of these leftist bullies or they will never be able to operate. It’s no accident that Christian-owned bakeries are targets of threats and abuse.

Coulter looks more like a meth head every day.
