Cherson & Molschky: Americans Do Not Support a Palestinian State

Palestinian Arabs may be shooting themselves in the foot with their blatant hatred and constant terrorism. The support for a Palestinian State among Americans has hit a two-decade low, reports the Washington Post.

Only 39 percent of Americans support the idea of a Palestinian State, down from 58 percent back in 2003. Thirty-six percent are in clear opposition, and while 50 percent of those opposed are Republicans, 33 percent are independents and Democrats, demonstrating that this is not a black and white political issue.

These statistics come from a new Gallup poll, which also reflects how President Obama’s behavior and moves against Israel affects American opinion on the matter. Only 38 percent approve of what Obama is doing when it comes to Israel, and a whopping 50 percent are not happy…
